iQ-Chart Box

The iQ-Chart Box is a compact light source with a built-in iQ-LED V2 that illuminates size A460 and A280 reflective test charts. Each light is aligned and fixed to ensure test charts are always homogeneously illuminated.

iQ-LED technology is a light source that is capable of generating custom spectra to replicate various light sources in a test lab environment. The iQ-Chart Box has eight iQ-LED V2 elements built in, each using 20 LED channels to recreate almost any light spectrum for your camera testing.

The iQ-Chart Box is designed for small test labs. Now, instead of having a full chart mount and two or more free-standing lights to illuminate the test chart, you can have the same illumination features all inside the box.

The iQ-Chart Box uses a mini-spectrometer with a spectral range of 350–860 nm to ensure better spectral resolution and higher sensitivity for the iQ-LED lights.

iQ-LED control software is provided with the iQ-Chart Box. An iQ-LED API (sold separately) is also available for integration into your custom design.

As a custom setup, you can also choose to have the iQ-Chart Box delivered without a spectrometer* and instead with a device preconfigured with illuminants. These illuminants must be individually requested (up to 40) and programmed into your device before delivery.

This option significantly reduces the product's total cost and is an excellent choice for new or smaller test labs looking to upgrade their image quality testing.

A standard image quality test setup typically requires a large floor space to ensure that the chart mounting, free-standing lights (e.g., the iQ-Flatlights), and the camera positioning devices can all be set up with proper alignment and spacing. Many labs, however, do not have the space to dedicate to so much equipment and need more compact or all-in-one camera test devices. Enter the iQ-Chart Box, an iQ-LED-powered light box. This device can be set up on a tabletop and has built-in iQ-LED modules for illumination and a chart-mounting system for easy chart positioning. It is a great alternative to a complete camera test setup with free-standing equipment.
